Emily Hanna

I am originally from the USA and grew up in a small town in Texas. I hold a Bachelor's (BA) in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s (MA) in Counselling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I am now based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach depending on the individual and draw on a variety of counselling techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Person-Centred Approach (PCA) to help clients maximise their counselling experience. I believe one of the most important factors in successful therapy is establishing a strong relationship between the counsellor and client built upon trust, openness, and collaboration.

As a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to the standards of practice and ethical framework set out by BACP
